Krirk University hosted an academic seminar on the project on the role of educational institutions and the One Belt and Road (OBOR) policy on December 19, 2023, in honor of Professor Dr. Krasae Chanawong, Rector of Krirk University presided over the opening ceremony and delivered a special address entitled “ The Role of Educational Institutions in OBOR Policy” during the academic seminar.
There was a special presentation on “ Expanding China’s Role Through the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Strategy, Impact on ASEAN and Thailand by Prof. (Special) Wiboon Tangkittiphaphon. Expert in Chinese Studies an an academic discussion on “Xi Jinping’s. Third China: Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), Thailand’s Crisis or opportunity”.
1.”Modern Education: Diversity, Potential, and Opportunity in Thai Education” by Prof. Dr. Charan Maluleem, vice rector for international affairs at the Krirk University and dean of Bangkok international Islamic College.
2. Dr. Luo Yong, Acting Director of the Thailand- China- ASEAN Institute and Dean of the International College of Chinese Language and Culture, discusses the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) in the areas of education and culture.
3. Dr. Ming Hsun Hsie, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Acting Director of the Safety Management Institute of Krirk University, wrote “Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) Silk Road of the 21 st Century: Infrastructure Development Ecological Impacts and Safety.” Dr. Hsie was deployed a mission, so Dr. Somchai Phuttha was designate as his representative in the academic seminar.
At the conclusion of the conference, Dr. Phichit Rattakul, the director of the Thailand Disaster Preparesness Center, gave a special presentation titled “ BRI : Disaster preparedness the role of ASEAN and Thailand.” Both internal and external parties, as well as many people outside of Krirk University, showed interest in organizing this seminar.
