“Knowledge makes valiant” is the basic idea for developing Krirk library to become one of the potential learning centers which create the judiciousness of knowledge and keep up with the technology disrupted world.

Library
The Krirk University Library was established in 1952 with a long-standing history. From a corner in the room in the English Language School of Dr. Krirk Mangkalapruek, Ratchadamnoen Road, Bangkok which was called “Ajarn Krirk School”. At that time, there were about 10,000 books and publications. After a few years, the English Language School was reformed to Krirk Wittayalai School and Krirk College, Bang Duan Subdistrict, Mueang District, Samut Prakan in the year 1970. The small room library was then become the college library. Krirk college had continually grew till become Krirk University in 1995 and finally moved to Bangkhen, Ram Indra Road, Bangkok.
With great intention of Krirk executive management to develop an inspired academic atmosphere for students and staff, on March 6, 2006, the library had been superbly renovated to be more modish by refurnishing and equipping with more technology such as computers and Internet. The name was also granted as “The Library in honorable to 60 years reigned of the King Rama IX” on August 24, 2006 by the royal permission. It was a signature of gratitude for the honorable occasion of the Majesty the King Rama IX held the throne for 60 years. King Rama IX was the perennially promoted and supported Thai education, such name has brought a pride to all executives and staff of Krirk University.
Academic resources include Thai language books, foreign language books: English, Chinese, German and etc., thesis, research, journals and serial publications more than 100,000 publications. Not only resources in printed forms, but the library has also provided electronic journal databases, e-books databases and online journals for students and staffs who work on research or dissertation.
For services, the library provide two primary services. First, services provided by the library to online students. These include instruction on how to access and use library materials; reference services to provide quick and in-depth answers to student questions; and materials delivery services that provide students with access to library materials online or items delivered to students’ homes. Second, services provided by the library to the users which include instruction on how to access and use library materials. The Library services / facilities include Circulation Service, Reference Service, Online reservation of books, Recommendation of library material, Current Awareness Service, Inter Library Loan Service, Orientation and Information Sessions, Selective Dissemination of Information, Audio Visual Service and Multimedia Section.
