Associate Professor Supat Teravecharoenchai, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs, warmly welcomed a high-level delegation from the Pakistan Embassy and conveyed gratitude to Mr. Yasir Hussain, Head of Mission, for his recent visit to Krirk University.
Their visit highlighted the remarkable academic accomplishments of both institutions and marked the beginning of a collaborative partnership aimed at fostering educational and cultural exchanges between Thailand and Pakistan. Key areas of cooperation include academic collaborations between universities in Pakistan and Krirk University, cultural activities, joint conferences, and the potential provision of scholarships to Pakistani students in the coming years.
Both sides also expressed mutual interest in supporting academic research, particularly in areas such as Islamic finance, Hajj, and Umrah management. Additionally, there are plans to establish partnerships between universities in Pakistan and Krirk University, encompassing student exchange programs, research partnerships, and academic conferences.
Productive discussions were held regarding cultural exchanges and potential collaborations, including the organization of international conferences and exhibitions to showcase historical and cultural artifacts. Moreover, there was a focus on supporting performing arts departments to foster cross-cultural appreciation.
An invitation was extended for participation in Embassy events, including an upcoming conference in December, which was met with enthusiasm from both parties. The engagement between the Pakistan Embassy and Krirk University promises valuable collaboration and meaningful exchanges in the future.
