On January 31, 2024, a significant milestone was achieved as Universitas Islam Kalimantan Muhammad Arsyad Al Banjari Banjarmasin (UNISKA MAB), Indonesia, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Krirk University. The ceremony, held at the council meeting room, brought together key representatives from both institutions.
Krirk University, represented by Assoc. Prof. Supat Teerawetcharoenchai, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Sarawut Lae-Sun, Assistant Chairman of the Executive Board Strategy and Development Department, DR. LUO YONG, Assistant President, and Dean of the International College of Chinese Language and Culture, Dr. Bandit Aroman, Assistant Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. Thitipat Hiranyanithi Thamrong, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, and Professor Chanidapa Noonuanwutthiwong, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, warmly welcomed the delegation from UNISKA MAB.
Dr. Abd Malik, President of UNISKA MAB, expressed his pleasure at the warm reception and considered it a positive step towards building robust academic relationships. UNISKA MAB, established in 1981, is a private university located in South Kalimantan Province, Indonesia, offering education at both bachelor’s and master’s levels across ten faculties.
The primary objective of this visit was to forge a framework for academic and educational cooperation with international universities. Both institutions share similar curricula in various faculties, with a specific focus on the Business Administration program at Bangkok Islamic International College.
The culmination of this meeting resulted in the signing of a comprehensive MoU, witnessed by key figures from both universities. The essence of the agreement encompasses student and faculty exchange programs, collaboration on educational issues, and the creation of a broader framework for cooperation in various domains.
