Bangkok, 11 June 2025 – The Embassy of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Thailand, in collaboration with the Bangkok Islamic International College, Krirk University, held the “Cultural Exchange Project” at the International Academic Auditorium, Krirk University. The initiative aimed to promote mutual understanding, intercultural respect, and global peaceful coexistence.
The event was graciously presided over by Professor Dr. Krasae Chanawongse, President of Krirk University, who delivered the opening remarks emphasizing the importance of education and international collaboration in fostering global citizenship.
A key highlight of the event was a special lecture titled “United Arab Emirates: A Country of Tolerance and Coexistence”, delivered by Ms. Nada Ibrahim Hassan, Head of the Department of Political Affairs, Mass Communication, and General Diplomacy at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates in Thailand.
Her lecture underscored the UAE’s unwavering commitment to promoting tolerance, acceptance, and cultural diversity. She further highlighted the essential role of education in shaping societies that value differences, contributing to peace and long-term global stability.
This event marks a significant milestone in the ongoing collaboration between the UAE Embassy and Krirk University. Through its leadership role in international education, particularly via the Bangkok Islamic International College, Krirk University continues to serve as a vital bridge between cultures, equipping students with a global mindset and encouraging international friendship.
The Cultural Exchange Project is expected to further deepen bilateral relations and strengthen the spirit of cooperation between Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.
