On 23 September 2026, the Educational Guidance Center under the Marketing Office, in collaboration with the Office of International Affairs and the British International College (BIC), Krirk University, organized an educational study visit and university tour for a delegation of teachers and Myanmar students from SIBA College. The event was held at the Nisan Conference Room, Krirk University.
The delegation received a warm welcome from Dr. John Christopher Walsh, Dean of the British International College (BIC), who delivered the opening remarks and welcomed the visiting teachers and students.
Following the welcome session, Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Director of International Affairs, delivered a presentation on “Pathways to Bachelor’s Degree Studies and Scholarship Opportunities for International Students.” The session aimed to inspire the students and provide useful guidance on pursuing higher education and exploring future academic opportunities.
The visitors were also introduced to various academic programmes and fields of study by Dr. Rahat Izhar, Head of the Business Technology in Information Communication Technology (ICT) programme, together with Ms. Ohmar Myint, Lecturer in the Business Administration in Tourism and Hospitality Management programme. They provided information on programme structures, teaching and learning approaches, as well as potential career opportunities available to graduates.
In addition to academic exchange, the visiting delegation had the opportunity to experience Thai culture through a hands-on workshop organized by the Arts and Culture Center under the Office of Student Affairs, Krirk University. During the workshop, students learned how to make “Luk Chup,” a traditional Thai dessert known for its delicate craftsmanship and cultural value.
The delegation also visited the modern laboratories of the Faculty of Innovation, Science and Engineering, where the students had the opportunity to explore advanced facilities, technology, and practical learning environments. The visit helped broaden their perspectives on innovation and hands-on education.
The study visit was led by Ms. Jariya Teerakaosun, Director of the English Program Department at SIBA College, together with 19 Myanmar students.
Throughout the visit, the atmosphere was filled with warmth, friendship, and enthusiastic participation. The programme provided a valuable opportunity for the students to learn more about higher education pathways, academic programmes, future career possibilities, and Thai culture, while further strengthening educational and cultural connections between Krirk University and SIBA College.
