Bangkok, Thailand – 27 January 2026 — Krirk University reaffirmed its strong commitment to expanding educational opportunity and nurturing future leaders during an official courtesy visit to the Office of the Chularatchamontri.
The University’s executive delegation, led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornpan Chandornanon, President of Krirk University, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Arun Boonchom, the Chularatchamontri, at the Chularatchamontri Office. The delegation also included Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs and Dean of the Bangkok Islamic International College, along with senior administrators, academic leaders, and faculty members. The visit was warmly received, with Mr. Prasit Mahamud, Secretary to the Chularatchamontri, in attendance.
The meeting served as a valuable opportunity for Krirk University to express its respect and appreciation while exchanging perspectives on the role of higher education in developing knowledgeable, ethical, and globally minded graduates. The discussion reflected shared values and a common vision for strengthening human capital through education rooted in cultural understanding and international relevance.
On this occasion, Krirk University formally presented the “Chularatchamontri Scholarship” for the 2026 academic year, a major scholarship initiative comprising 270 awards across undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. The scholarship program has been established with the objective of widening access to higher education and supporting students with strong academic potential in fields aligned with the Islamic world, halal industries, and global engagement.
At the undergraduate level, scholarships are offered in Islamic Business Administration, with concentrations in Islamic Finance, the Halal Industry, and Hajj and Umrah Service Management, including full and partial scholarships. Additional awards are available in Arabic for Health Service and Tourism Business, reinforcing the development of language skills essential to international service-oriented professions.
Graduate-level scholarships cover master’s programs in Islamic Business Administration, Islamic Educational Administration, and Islamic and Middle Eastern Studies, while doctoral scholarships are provided in Islamic Business Administration, featuring advanced specializations such as Thai–Middle Eastern Business Innovation and Halal Tourism and Healthcare Management—areas of growing strategic importance to regional and global economies.
The Chularatchamontri expressed his appreciation to Krirk University for its continued dedication to human resource development and its consistent support for youth through education. He highlighted the importance of investing in learning as a foundation for sustainable social and economic progress.
