On 28-31 July 2024, the Office of International Affairs and the International Islamic College Bangkok were honored to be invited by Universiti Sultan Azlan Shah (USAS) to attend the World Conference on Islamic Thought and Humanity 2024 (WCIT2024). The delegation was led by Professor Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs and Dean of International Islamic College Bangkok, Dr. Bandit Aroman, Vice Dean for Research and Innovation, International Islamic College Bangkok, and Mr. Muhammad Raksaithong, International Affairs Coordinator, Office of International Affairs, Krirk University.
        This conference aims to provide a platform for presenting academic works and research in philosophy, politics, economics, and society on a global scale. It focuses on the theme “Together We Stand: Muslims and Global Humanity” and covers important topics such as Global Politics, Education and Research, Economic Cooperation and Development, The Rule of Law, Governance and Integrity, Arts and Humanities, and Green Technology and Environmental Sustainability.
        The conference was honored to have His Excellency Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah, Sultan of Perak, as the keynote speaker and His Excellency Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, as the opening chairman. The event was attended by over 1,000 participants from 21 countries, including leading academics from around the world.
        This conference provides a significant opportunity for Krirk University, as a member of AIUA, which includes a network of leading universities, to expand research cooperation, academic work, journal articles, and international research articles in the Scopus database. It also allows for collaboration with educational administrators in higher education for the benefit of university upgrading.
