On Monday, February 12, 2024, Prof. Dr. Charan Maluleem, Vice President for Foreign Affairs at Krirk University, led a delegation comprising Dr. Bandit Aroman, Assistant Vice President for Foreign Affairs; Teacher Chanidapa Noonuanwutthiwong, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office; Mr. Muhammad Raksaithong, Foreign Affairs Office Officer; and Miss Wilasinee Luewisetpaiboon, Foreign Affairs Office Official. They convened with Mr. Alexander Lim, Advisor to the Ambassador for Political Affairs, and Ms. Fiona Leong, Deputy Secretary for Political Affairs, at the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore in Thailand to foster stronger ties and discuss educational cooperation.
During the meeting, Dr. Bandit articulated the purpose of the visit, emphasizing the need to establish and enhance academic networks, including research projects and exchange programs.
Professor Chanidapa echoed the university’s commitment to fostering internationalism, welcoming students from Singapore to study at Krirk University and highlighting the support provided by the Embassy. Krirk University’s presence in Singapore through the Nanyang Institute of Management (NIM) further strengthens educational opportunities in the region.
Mr. Alexander emphasized the importance of student exchange programs and highlighted the potential for collaboration between Krirk University and Singaporean institutions. This dialogue marks a pivotal step in bolstering relations between Krirk University and the Embassy of the Republic of Singapore, ultimately enhancing educational standards and academic cooperation between the two nations.
