Krirk University has actively participated in the Hajj delegation of Thailand, contributing to a significant Hajj preparation meeting with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Led by Deputy Minister of Interior, Chada Thaiseth, the delegation aimed to prepare for the Hajj scheduled for the year 2024/1445.
On January 8, 2024, Deputy Minister Chada Thaiseth played a key role in the HAJJ AND UMRAH CONFERENCE & EXHIBITION 2024. This important event, named “The Hajj and Umrah Services Conference and Exhibition,” took place from January 8 to 11, 2024, organized by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Under the leadership of Professor Dr. Charan Maluleem, Vice President for Foreign Affairs at Krirk University, a distinguished team was assigned to attend the Hajj preparation meeting. This team included Professor Amphon Khamwilai, Assistant Chairman of the Executive Committee in the International Relations Department, along with Professor Sarawut Lae-Sun, Deputy Deans of the Bangkok International Islamic College. Additionally, Professor Chanidapa Nuthong, Director of the Foreign Affairs Office, participated.
The focus of Krirk University’s involvement was to study the development of Hajj and Umrah under Vision 2030, ensuring students stay informed about changes. The gathered insights will be utilized as a database for enhancing the curriculum in managing Hajj and Umrah services across Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral degree programs. This aligns with the mission of Bangkok International Islamic College at Krirk University.
