On February 5-10, 2024, Prof. Dr. Charan Maluleem, Vice President for Foreign Affairs and Dean of Bangkok International Islamic College, led a delegation to Indonesia. The team included Dr. Bandit Aroman, Assistant Vice President for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Smeet Eesaw, Director of the Master of Business Administration Program, Professor Sarihan Kwankawin, Assistant Dean of Bangkok International Islamic College, and Mr. Muhammad Raksaithong from the Foreign Affairs Office at Krirk University.
During this visit, the delegation participated in an international academic seminar and engaged in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and several Memorandums of Agreement (MoA) with prominent Indonesian universities.
This opportunity showcased Krirk University’s commitment to international collaboration, fostering knowledge exchange within the AIUA network of over 85 universities. Following the success of the 1st International Conference of International Islamic College Bangkok, the delegation explored collaborative research initiatives, including a promising partnership with UNI Fatmawati Sukarno, Bengkulu.
Krirk University formalized agreements with Universitas Muhammadiyah Bengkulu and Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu through MoUs, along with signing 8 MoAs with institutions like Universitas Islam Negeri Fatmawati Sukarno Bengkulu (UIN Fatmawati Sukarno) and Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Syariah Nahdlatul Ulama Bengkulu (STIES – NU). These agreements aim to establish a comprehensive framework for educational cooperation, including research collaboration, training programs, workshops, academic and student exchanges.
Additionally, the delegation engaged in academic discussions with esteemed counterparts, such as Dr. Romi Adetio Setiawan and Dr. Efi Syarifudin, exploring opportunities for further collaboration.
