On Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., Krirk University welcomed the distinguished delegation from Universitas Syeikh Nawawi Banten (USNB) Indonesia. The delegation, led by H.J. Siti Haniatunnisa, The Rector of USNB, and Mr. Muhammad Zainal Arifin, Head of the Office of Education, was received by Prof. Dr. Krasae Chanawongse, President of Krirk University, alongside Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs, Mr. Wang Chang Ming, Chairman of the Executive Board, Dr. Bandit Aroman, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation from International Islamic College Bangkok, and Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Director of the Office of International Affairs, along with other university officials.
During the visit, H.J. Siti Haniatunnisa expressed her deep appreciation for the warm welcome and emphasized the significance of this partnership as a stepping stone towards fostering educational and academic collaboration between the two institutions.
Prof. Dr. Krasae Chanawongse expressed his pleasure in hosting the delegation, acknowledging Indonesia’s prominent role in the global education landscape. He highlighted the potential for mutual growth through this collaboration.
Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem noted the longstanding relationship between Thailand and Indonesia, particularly in the field of education, and expressed his enthusiasm for the continued partnership. Mr. Wang Chang Ming echoed affirmation of Krirk University’s commitment to supporting educational cooperation across various levels and disciplines.
Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong emphasized the opportunities for expanding Krirk University’s presence in Indonesia, acknowledging the country’s vast educational market and the potential for future collaboration.
The visit culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Krirk University and Universitas Syeikh Nawawi Banten. The MoU, signed by Prof. Dr. Krasae Chanawongse and H.J. Siti Haniatunnisa, formalizes the cooperation between the two institutions in areas such as student exchange programs, internships, conferences, training, seminars, research support, publication of academic works, and other collaborative initiatives. The signing was witnessed by Mr. Wang Chang Ming and Mr. Muhammad Zainal Arifin, solidifying the commitment to this valuable partnership.
