On Monday, May 13, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., a significant meeting took place in Room 1201.
The International Affairs Office of Krirk University led by Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs, together with personalities of Dr. Hambalee Jehma, Assistant Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. John Christopher Walsh, Associate Dean of the International College of English Programs, and Ms. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Director of the International Affairs Office, along with the permanent staff of the International Affairs Office graced the occasion. The session was conducted via an electronic media system in collaboration with the International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM), Sri Lanka. Mr. Isanka P. Gamage, the co-founder and managing director of TIIKM, along with his management team, participated in the meeting.
This gathering was a continuation of several prior meetings where both institutions expressed their commitment to fostering a robust framework for educational cooperation. Krirk University is confident that this partnership with TIIKM will be highly efficient and mutually beneficial, driving significant academic and research advancements. The collaboration framework underscores the university’s dedication to developing international capacities and achieving its strategic objectives of enhancing academic excellence through global partnerships.
The meeting culminated in the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), which highlights the core aspects of their cooperation: promoting academic excellence, developing research collaborations, facilitating knowledge dissemination, and enhancing educational networking.
Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem signed the MoA on behalf of Krirk University, while Mr. Isanka P. Gamage signed on behalf of TIIKM. The signing ceremony was witnessed by administrators, faculty, and staff from both institutions, marking a significant step forward in their collaborative efforts to enhance international academic and research endeavors.
