On Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., distinguished members of Krirk University, including Prof. Dr. Charan Maluleem, Vice President for Foreign Affairs and Dean of Bangkok International Islamic College, Assoc. Prof. Supat Teerawetcharoenchai, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Professor Sarawut Lae-Sun, Assistant Chairman of the Executive Committee for Strategy and Development, and Dr. Bandit Aroman, Assistant Vice President for Foreign Affairs, gathered at the International Academic Conference Room to extend a warm welcome to the delegation from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), Malaysia.
Led by Prof.Dr.Noor Najihan Jaafar, Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs and International Relations, along with 23 participating students, the purpose of this visit to Krirk University was to collaboratively present academic works focusing on the Holy Qur’an and Hadith in conjunction with Bangkok International Islamic College.
The event, titled “Greet and Meet with International Islamic College Bangkok and Quran Sunnah Intellectual Discourse (QSID),” featured insightful presentations by faculty and students from both USIM and Bangkok International Islamic College. Professor Dr. Smith Eesaw, Director of the Master of Business Administration Program, Islamic Business Administration major, Bangkok Islamic International College, was honored for presenting academic work on Islamic Finance in Thailand.
This initiative holds paramount significance in advancing the framework for academic and educational cooperation, aligning with Krirk University’s mission to provide modern academic services that meet the evolving needs of society. It marks a vital step in the international academic cooperation framework, fostering an exchange of cultural knowledge among faculty and students from both institutions.
