On December 13, 2024, Professor Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs and Dean of International Islamic College Bangkok at Krirk University, delegated a team led by Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Assistant to the Chairman for International Education Development and Director of the Office of International Affairs, along with Mr. Amphon Trakarnrerk, Head of the Bangkok Arabic Language Center, and accompanying staff, to pay a courtesy visit to the Chargé d’Affaires of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Thailand at the Embassy of Bahrain in Bangkok. The visit aimed to extend congratulations on Bahrain’s National Day and discuss potential educational collaborations and the establishment of academic networks between the two countries.
The discussions were conducted in a cordial atmosphere, with both parties exchanging views on various aspects of educational cooperation, including student and faculty exchanges, internship opportunities at the embassy, the promotion of language and cultural learning between both nations, and the formulation of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to facilitate further collaborations.
Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong emphasized the importance of partnering with Bahrain, a nation renowned for having one of the oldest public education systems in the Arabian Peninsula, to provide students and staff of Krirk University with diverse experiences and global perspectives.
The Chargé d’Affaires expressed appreciation for the visit and affirmed readiness to support educational collaborations between the two countries, aiming to strengthen bilateral relations. Additionally, the embassy expressed interest in visiting Krirk University to explore further opportunities as per the university’s invitation.
This visit marks a significant step toward enhancing educational cooperation between Krirk University and the Kingdom of Bahrain, paving the way for new opportunities in capacity building for students and staff, and fostering mutual understanding and strong relations between the two nations in the future.
