Bangkok, Thailand – 23 February 2026 — Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn graciously attended, in a private capacity, the 48th Thai Traditional Music Festival for Higher Education Institutions, hosted by Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University. The occasion was marked by profound joy and heartfelt gratitude among attendees, who deeply appreciated Her Royal Highness’s benevolence and unwavering support for the preservation of Thailand’s cultural heritage.
During the festival, Her Royal Highness performed the distinguished pieces “Chuen Chumnum Klum Dontri” and “Lao Duang Duen” alongside accomplished musicians and student representatives from higher education institutions across the country. The performance was both moving and inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on all in attendance and reaffirming the enduring vitality of Thai traditional music within the academic sphere.
On this auspicious occasion, Ms. Pradapnapa Prombut, a student representative from Krirk University, was graciously granted the honor of performing before Her Royal Highness. In addition, Mr. Niran Dankong was honored to serve as a representative musician in the teachers’ ensemble, symbolizing the harmonious collaboration within the national network of Thai traditional music in higher education. Following the musical performances, Her Royal Highness graciously accepted commemorative tokens presented by representatives of participating institutions.
