On 3 May 2026, the Thai–Chinese–ASEAN Business Chinese Program, under the Chinese International Language and Culture College, Krirk University, organized a special lecture seminar and workshop at the Nishan Confucian Philosophy Center. The event aimed to prepare students and staff to better understand and respond to the volatility of the global situation.
-The event was honored by the presence of Dr. Luo Yong, Vice President for China Relations, who presided over the opening ceremony.
– The program began with a special lecture titled “Middle East War 2026: The Impact of the Energy Crisis and the Economies of Thailand, China, and ASEAN.” The lecture was delivered by Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs, who provided insightful analysis of the current global situation and its potential implications for the region.
-In addition to economic and geopolitical issues, the second session featured a workshop titled “From Research Questions to Data Analysis,” delivered by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwimon Wongsingthong. The workshop focused on strengthening participants’ academic and research skills, particularly in developing research questions and applying data analysis methods.
-This event reflected the commitment of the Chinese International Language and Culture College, Krirk University, to serving as an academic hub that connects knowledge among Thailand, China, and ASEAN. It also highlighted the role of the Nishan Confucian Philosophy Center as a meaningful learning space that integrates traditional wisdom with contemporary global issues.
