From 27 June to 6 July 2025, representatives from Krirk University, led by Dr. Chanidapha Nunnualwutthiwong, Assistant to the Chairman for International Education Development Director of International Affairs, alongside Dr. John Christopher Walsh, Dean of British International College, and Mr. Francis Frank, Head of International Marketing, participated in an official academic mission to the United Kingdom. The primary objective of this visit is to establish strategic academic partnerships with leading UK universities as a part of Krirk University’s ongoing efforts to enhance internationalization and raise academic standards to meet global benchmarks.
Key highlights of the visit included:
🔹 Canterbury Christ Church University – MoU Signing Ceremony
On 30 June 2025, Krirk University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Canterbury Christ Church University to establish a foundation for academic cooperation in the field of Business Administration at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The partnership includes joint curriculum development, dual degree programs, student and faculty exchange, collaborative research, and executive training programs tailored to the ASEAN market.
🔹 Regent’s University London – Campus Visit and Strategic Collaboration Discussion
On 1 July 2025, the delegation visited Regent’s University London to explore potential academic collaboration in the fields of art and design. Discussions included possibilities for a 2+2 credit transfer program, semester or summer exchange opportunities, joint exhibitions, and co-designed curricula aligned with global workforce demands.
🔹 University of Bradford – Cyber Security Program Collaboration
Later that same day, the delegation visited the University of Bradford to discuss the establishment of undergraduate and postgraduate franchise programs in Cyber Security. The discussion focused on curriculum accreditation, academic quality assurance, faculty development, joint research funding, and the possibility of developing a co-branded degree program.
This academic mission marks a significant milestone in Krirk University’s pursuit of global partnerships—broadening international learning opportunities, elevating academic offerings to global standards, and equipping students with the skills needed to compete in the international job market with confidence.
