On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. Dr Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Director of the Office of International Affairs, and Dr. Bandit Aroman, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation at the International Islamic College Bangkok, along with the Officers of International Affairs welcomed executives from Universitas Winaya Mukti, Indonesia.
Leading the delegation was Dr. Deden Komar Priatna, President of Universitas Winaya Mukti, accompanied by Prof. Dr. Ai Komariah, First Vice President; Dr. Ir. Elly Roosma Ria, Third Vice President; Prof. Dr. Nandan Limakrisna, a member of the University Council and Dr. Winna Roswinna, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. Their purpose was to pay a courtesy visit to the management of Krirk University.
Speaking at the occasion, Dr. Deden Komar Priatna expressed his pleasure and gratitude for the warm welcome from Krirk University’s executives and staff. He emphasized the significance of the visit as a major step toward educational cooperation between the two institutions.
Dr. Chanidapha discussed the educational opportunities available between the two institutions and emphasized the importance of establishing a broader cooperation framework. She highlighted Krirk University’s active pursuit of educational partnerships in Indonesia and the promotion of Krirk University within the country.
Dr. Bandit provided an overview of Krirk University and its curriculum, including English and Chinese programs. He specifically emphasized the curriculum of the International Islamic College Bangkok, which he believed aligned well with the needs of the Indonesian education market.
Following the discussion, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed to establish cooperation in education and academic work. Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs, signed on behalf of Krirk University, while Dr. Deden Komar Priatna, President of Universitas Winaya Mukti, signed on behalf of their institution. Dr Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Director of the Office of International Affairs, and Prof. Dr. Ai Komariah, First Vice President, served as witnesses to the MoU.
The key points of the agreement included cooperation in research and joint publication of research papers, joint training and seminars, academic and student exchange programs, and the establishment of cooperation frameworks in mutually agreed areas.
