On Thursday, August 21, 2025, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA), Brunei Darussalam, graciously invited Professor Dr. Krasae Chanawongse, President of Krirk University, to attend the 2025 UNISSA Convocation Ceremony. This occasion represents the highest honor for Krirk University, as the sole higher education institution from Thailand to be formally invited to participate in this prestigious event royally granted.
On the same occasion, the delegation from Krirk University, the International Islamic College Bangkok (IICB), and the Office of International Affairs, Krirk University, had the esteemed privilege of welcoming His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, who presided over the ceremony.
His Majesty graciously engaged in warm exchanges and imparted royal guidance on education, academic collaboration, and cultural exchange—aimed at strengthening cooperation between Thailand and Brunei, as well as fostering collective progress within ASEAN and the wider Muslim world.
In addition, the President of Krirk University was granted a royal audience and presented a token of goodwill from Thailand, symbolizing friendship, mutual respect, and the strong academic partnership between the two nations and institutions.
