Krirk University Participates in China-ASEAN Education Expo in Phnom Penh, Cambodia
Krirk University, located in Thailand, collaborated with Singapore’s Nanyang Institute of Management to participate in the China-ASEAN Education Expo, held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from December 1st to 2nd, 2023. This expo was organized with the objective of promoting international education among students from China, Thailand, and Singapore. The event witnessed the participation of over 3,000 international students who engaged with representatives from Krirk University.
The university delegation was led by Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem who assigned Dr. Bandit Aroman, serving as the Assistant to the Vice President for International Affairs, along with Ms. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, the Director of International Affairs, and Mr. Gao Bin, the Head of Marketing based in Guangzhou, China, represented Krirk University. From Nanyang Institute of Management, Mr. Jonathan Yeo, the Senior Business Development Manager, was present. The expo’s opening ceremony was graced by the Chief Guest, H.E. Chap Sojotharith, Secretary of State and Minister of Inspection from Cambodia, who welcomed the participating universities from China and ASEAN countries.
The event attracted a significant interest from over a hundred international and graduate students, particularly towards the educational offerings of Krirk University and Nanyang Institute of Management.
A highlight of the expo was the academic discussions led by Dr. Bandit Aroman and Ajarn Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong with eminent personalities like H.E. Dr. Tong Vannak, Chairman of the Association of Cambodia Secondary Students for Education and Orientation, and H.E. Mohammad Farid, an advisor to the Ministry of Culture and Religion and Chairman of the Cambodia Management and Technology (AIUA member).
This successful exhibition not only opened new avenues for Cambodian students to pursue their studies at Krirk University but also fostered extended academic collaborations between Krirk University and Cambodian educational institutions.
