On July 24, 2025, representatives from International Islamic College Bangkok , Krirk University, participated in the 1st National Conference on Industrial Technology and Innovation Management at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center. The event was held under the theme “Circular Innovation: The Future of Sustainability in Industry” and brought together key stakeholders from the education, industrial, and governmental sectors.
Leading the delegation from Krirk University were Professor Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Dean of the International Islamic College Bangkok , and Dr. Parinya Prayadsap, Deputy Dean for Research and Innovation, accompanied by faculty members and staff. The university joined the network of partners with Pathumwan Institute of Technology and other organizations to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and develop collaborative initiatives that promote a circular economy in Thailand.
A highlight of the conference was the keynote speech delivered by Professor Dr. Jaran Maluleem on “Driving Thai Business towards Circular Industry and a Sustainable Future.” He spoke alongside distinguished experts, including Associate Professor Dr. Sathian Tanyasirit, President of Pathumwan Institute of Technology; Mr. Thavorn Chalassathien, Vice Chairman of the Federation of Thai Industries; and Mr. Attakan Trisnarangsee, President of the Central Region 5 Vocational Education Council.
The university’s contribution to the academic sessions was further demonstrated when Ms. Sareehan Khwankawin, Assistant Dean for Research Potential Promotion and Sustainable Development, served as Chairperson for one of the presentation rooms. This role reflected Krirk University’s commitment to fostering research excellence and advancing sustainable development initiatives.
In addition, Mr. Nantawat Mala and Mr. Piranut Boonmaleart presented their research paper titled “Thai Muslims and Their Participation in Economic and Social Development Processes: Islamic Business Management.” Their work showcased the university’s engagement in exploring social and economic development through an Islamic business perspective.
The conference served as a significant platform for building collaboration between academia, industry, and government. It highlighted the shared commitment to developing circular innovation strategies and driving Thailand’s industrial sector towards a sustainable and resilient future.
