On December 17, 2024, a delegation from Krirk University visited H.E. Wiraka Moodhitaporn, Consul General of Thailand, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. The delegation was led by Professor Dr.Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs; Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Assistant to the Chairman for International Education Development and Director of the Office of International Affairs; and Dr. James Sun, President of Global Association of Transnational Education (TNE Global), along with staff from the Office of International Affairs. The purpose of the visit was to discuss educational collaboration and academic relations between Thailand and Vietnam.
The discussions proceeded smoothly, focusing on establishing a framework for educational cooperation. Key topics included offering scholarships to Vietnamese students interested in studying at Krirk University and promoting future student and staff exchange programs. Additionally, they provided insights into various business sectors to enhance learning and development in response to labor market demands.
H.E. Wiraka Moodhitaporn expressed her appreciation and support for these innitiatives, providing valuable recommendations to strengthen partnerships between Krirk University and educational institutions in Vietnam. She emphasized the importance of fostering mutual understanding and sustainable development between the two countries.
During the visit, Professor Dr.Jaran Maluleem stated, “Krirk University is committed to fostering educational collaboration with Vietnam to provide Vietnamese students with access to international education. We are dedicated to supporting the development of new-generation talents, equipping them with skills to thrive in the global labor market with confidence.”
