From Piles to Peace: Apps Lighten the Burden of End-of-Term Grading

        This mobile app based grading innovation delivers a practical, low cost digital solution to Krirk University’s long standing challenges of labour intensive manual examination marking. By utilising existing faculty smartphones and A4 embedded answer sheets, the project successfully bypasses major financial barriers to digital education reform.

        Validated through four semester trials covering 13 courses, it boosts grading efficiency by 11 times with zero scoring errors. It relieves teachers of repetitive mechanical work so they can focus on instruction, curriculum development and research. Meanwhile, standardised assessment minimises grade disputes and enhances satisfaction among students and parents.

        As a replicable model for resource constrained higher education settings, this initiative deserves university wide implementation to promote fairer, more efficient evaluation across all disciplines. Supporting student testimonies confirm its real world benefits.
