The British International College (BIC), Krirk University, organized the New Student Orientation for the Academic Year 2026 at the International Conference Center and the University Gymnasium, Krirk University. The event aimed to prepare new students for their academic journey and help them better understand university life. University executives, faculty members, staff, and new students participated in the event.
The morning session began with an opening ceremony honored by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornpan Jantarothai, President of Krirk University, and Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs, who warmly welcomed the new students and officially opened the event. The ceremony also included a garland presentation and a commemorative group photo.
Following the opening ceremony, Dr. John Walsh, Dean of the British International College, delivered a presentation introducing the college and providing an overview of its academic programs. Faculty members from various undergraduate and graduate programs also provided guidance on teaching, learning, and academic expectations.
The orientation also featured informative sessions from various university units, including:

💻 An introduction to the university’s information systems by Dr. Rahat Izar, Director of the ICT Program
🛂 Guidance on immigration regulations and requirements for staying in Thailand by officers from the Immigration Bureau
🌏 Information on international cooperation and services for international students by Mr. Francis Augustine Frank from the Office of International Affairs (IAO)
📚 Information on library services, academic resources, and research tools by Dr. Kobkulya Ngamcharoenmongkol, Director of the Library
🎓 Information on student benefits, services, and activities by the Student Affairs Division
In the afternoon, the activities moved to the University Gymnasium, where new students participated in ice-breaking and relationship-building activities organized by the Student Affairs Division. The atmosphere was filled with fun, laughter, smiles, and friendship, bringing the orientation to a memorable and enjoyable conclusion.
