Halal Experience Sharing Programme and Strategic Halal Networking
The International Islamic College Bangkok (IICB), in collaboration with the Halal Business Development Center Thailand and the Office of International Affairs, Krirk University, successfully organized a knowledge exchange meeting on 24 April 2026 at Krirk University.
The session aimed to promote knowledge exchange in the halal sector and strengthen strategic collaboration between Thailand and Malaysia.
The programme featured introductory presentations highlighting the roles and capabilities of Krirk University, IICB, and the Halal Business Development Center Thailand in advancing halal initiatives at the international level.
Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Dean of the International Islamic College Bangkok, delivered the official welcome address and introduced the distinguished participants.
Dr. Samee Isor, Deputy Dean and Director of the Halal Business Development Center Thailand, provided insights into the project framework, organizational structure, and Thailand’s halal standards.
The meeting was also honored by the participation of Dr. Ahmad Syakir bin Dato’ Mohd Nassuruddin, Director of the KIAS Halal Centre (KIASHAC), Malaysia, who shared valuable perspectives on international halal food standards.
The session concluded with an engaging discussion on future collaboration and potential joint initiatives.
