On May 9, 2025, Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs, delegated Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Assistant to the Chairman for International Education Development and Director of International Affairs, to attend the 5th International Hospitality Entrepreneurship and Innovation Conference 2025 at Bali Tourism Polytechnic, Indonesia. The event was co-hosted with Nanyang Institute of Management, Singapore, under the theme “Cultural Authenticity in Hospitality: Navigating the Tension Between Tradition and Contemporary Trends”, and was supported by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia.
The conference aimed to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, innovations, and best practices in the hospitality industry, with a focus on preserving cultural identity while integrating contemporary elements into tourism and hospitality practices. The opening ceremony was honored by Dr. Drs. Ida Bagus Putu Puja, M.Kes., Director of Bali Tourism Polytechnic, who welcomed delegates from various countries.
Following the morning session, the Krirk University delegation—led by Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Assistant to the Chairman for International Education Development and Director of International Affairs, and Mr. Muhammad Assurehe Alharbi, Head of the International Protocol Division—participated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with Bali Tourism Polytechnic, Indonesia’s leading tourism institute, renowned for its on-campus training hotel.
During the meeting, Krirk University introduced several of its academic programs, particularly in Tourism and Hospitality Management, highlighting its strength in tourism systems management and development. As both Thailand and Bali are major tourism destinations in the region, it is expected that students from Indonesia and other countries will show interest in Krirk’s undergraduate (4-year) and Top-up Degree (2-year) programs.
This Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) marks a significant milestone for Krirk University in promoting academic collaboration, student and staff exchange, as well as the development of professional and entrepreneurial skills on an international scale. The collaboration is expected to enhance educational quality and provide students with sustainable opportunities to grow and succeed in the global arena.
