On the morning of October 1, 2019, the 131st Anniversary “Most Admired” Honors Ceremony of Mahidol University was held at the School of Public Health, Mahidol University, Thailand
Mahidol University is one of the oldest institution of higher education in Thailand, founded in 1889 as the Royal College of Medicine in Sirila. It has a reputation for excellence in the fields of medicine, public health and natural sciences, and was named after Prince Mahidol Mahidol in 1969, “the father of modern medicine and public health in Thailand”. It was named after Prince Mahidol Songkla, the father of modern medicine and public health in Thailand, in 1969. It is one of the oldest universities in Thailand with the strongest research capacity, the highest research income, and the largest number of international students and lecturers.
The award ceremony was presided over by Professor Rajata Rajatanavin, President of Mahidol University Thailand, who expressed the respect and affection of his juniors for their elders in this award ceremony.
Afterwards, Dr. Krasae Chanawongse President of Krirk University, was honored with the “Most Respected Person” award for the 131st anniversary of Mahidol University, Thailand’s “Tsinghua”, and a total of three distinguished honorary alumni will go down in the history of Mahidol University.
Finally, President Dr. Krasae Chanawongse made a speech. President firstly expressed his gratitude to Mahidol University of Thailand, secondly, as President’s alma mater, he very much affirmed the achievements of Mahidol University of Thailand in medicine, and finally, he expressed his praise to the two colleagues who were awarded at the same time.
After the award ceremony, all the leaders took a group photo together with the distinguished honorary alumni.
