Krirk University was first opened at the Ratchadamnoen Building in 1952 by Dr.KrirkManglabruk (1915-1978), a renowned educator both in Thailand and abroad. He received an honorary doctorate in education from David & Elkins College, USA. The purpose of setting up university in the early stages was to conduct English teaching only due to his high competence in English Language in both pedagogy and work experience. Undoubtedly, he was the first Thai person who taught modern English that aimed at students to acquire language principles and be able to use English effectively. The name of the institution according to the license at that time was “Language and Professional School", but people had consistently recognized the name of the school as Dr.Krirk School.

 

Bachelor Degree

Faculty of Liberal Arts offers several courses and majors which are designed to meet the needs of diverse learners, including curricula and majors ready for the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), such as the Public Health Program, Chinese Language, and English for Business Communication.

on Sustainability Management

ICSM is an international seminar on the theme of sustainability research. Held during the annual winter vacation. Mainly discuss the topics related to sustainable development. The first session was held on January 16-17, 2020 in Bangkok, Thailand. It will continue to be handled in Thailand each year.

Since the past few decades, The world has faced the challenge of environmental protection and sustainable development. Therefore, many scholars, researchers and students from all over the world spend their effort to study the related issues including technology, education, administrative and management regulations.
