Bangkok, Thailand \u2013 15 January 2026 \u2013 Krirk University reaffirmed its role as a platform for international academic diplomacy by hosting the international seminar \u201cGlobal New 2026: The Rise of a Multipolar World and the Rebalancing of Global Security,\u201d in collaboration with the Aligarh Muslim University Alumni Association (Thailand). The seminar brought together scholars and policy-oriented academics to exchange perspectives on the evolving dynamics of global power and security.<\/span><\/p>

Against the backdrop of an increasingly complex international environment, the seminar emphasized the importance of dialogue and academic cooperation in fostering mutual understanding among nations. Discussions reflected the growing relevance of multipolarity in shaping global governance and security architectures, as well as the need for inclusive and cooperative approaches to addressing shared global challenges.<\/span><\/p>

In this context, academic leaders highlighted the role of universities as bridges between knowledge production and diplomatic engagement. Dr. Ming Hsun Hsieh, Dean of the Faculty of Liberal Arts, underscored the responsibility of higher education institutions to cultivate informed global citizens and encourage intellectual exchange beyond national boundaries. Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs, further emphasized that academic diplomacy serves as a vital mechanism for strengthening international trust and cooperation in a rapidly changing world.<\/span><\/p>

The seminar featured in-depth reflections on geopolitical transformation and security realignment delivered by Prof. Dr. Jaweid Iqbal, Vice-Chancellor of Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri (Jammu & Kashmir), India. His analysis highlighted the shifting balance of power, the growing influence of emerging regions, and the strategic significance of regional perspectives in the formulation of future global security frameworks.<\/span><\/p>

Complementing these insights, Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem contributed an international affairs perspective that emphasized multilateralism, sustained academic engagement, and policy-relevant research as essential foundations for navigating contemporary global uncertainties. The exchange of ideas demonstrated the capacity of academic forums to inform diplomatic thinking and promote peaceful cooperation.<\/span><\/p>

Moderated by Dr. Bandit Aroman, Head of the Political Science for Leadership and Governance Program, the seminar fostered an atmosphere of constructive dialogue, with participants actively engaging in discussions that reflected shared concerns and collective aspirations for global stability.<\/span><\/p>

The seminar concluded with reflections by Dr. Chandidapha Nunaluttwong, Director of International Affairs, who reiterated Krirk University\u2019s commitment to strengthening international academic partnerships and advancing global dialogue through education, research, and academic diplomacy.<\/span><\/p>
