On February 17, 2025, Professor Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs at Krirk University, along with Dr. Sarawut Laesun, Assistant Vice Presidents for International Affairs, and Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Assistant to the Chairman for International Educational Development, as well as Director of the Office of International Affairs, paid a courtesy visit to H.E. Mr. Apirat Sugondhabhirom, Ambassador of Thailand to the Republic of T\u00fcrkiye,. Faculty members and staff from Bangkok International Islamic College also participated in this meeting.<\/p>

During their discussion, both parties explored a framework for scholarship exchange cooperation between Thai and Turkish students. Krirk University has a longstanding commitment to supporting scholarships for international students. They also agreed that establishing Thai language courses in Turkish universities would greatly enhance people-to-people relations between the two nations.<\/p>

Facilitated by the Royal Thai Embassy in Ankara, T\u00fcrkiye, the delegation is set to meet with key Turkish organisations, including Diyanet (the Directorate of Religious Affairs of T\u00fcrkiye), YTB (the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities), and the Yunus Emre Foundation. These organisations play significant roles in supporting scholarships for Thai students. The meeting aims to share experiences and explore opportunities for providing scholarships to Turkish students wishing to study at Krirk University.<\/p>

Additionally, the delegation will engage in discussions with Ankara University, Uluda\u011f University, and the MUSIAD organisation. The visit will also include the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University and the organization of a seminar in collaboration with the Thai Students Association in T\u00fcrkiye at Istanbul Sabahattin Zaim University.<\/p>
