On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, Professor Dr. Jaran Maluleem, Vice President for International Affairs at Krirk University, assigned Dr. Sarawut Laesun, Assistant Vice Presidents for International Affairs, along with Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong, Director of the Office of International Affairs, Ampon Trakarnroek Assistant Dean for International Affairs Student Development and Alumni Relations and Director of Bangkok Arabic Language Center, Mr. Muhammad Assurehe Alharbi, Marketing Manager for Muslim Countries, and Mr. Francis Frank, Marketing Manager for Africa, to meet with H.E. Mr. Rachmat Budiman, Ambassador of Indonesia to Thailand. The meeting was also attended by Mr. Dozi Adeson, Counselor, and Ms. Cyti Daniela Aruan, Education and Cultural Attach\u00e9. The delegation extended New Year\u2019s greetings and discussed strategies for enhancing educational cooperation between Krirk University and academic institutions in Indonesia.<\/p>

The discussion covered several key areas, including student exchange programs, faculty and staff exchange initiatives, joint seminars, and broader cooperation frameworks such as signing Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) between Krirk University and Indonesian educational institutions.<\/p>

H.E. Mr. Rachmat Budiman emphasised the significance of academic collaboration and bilateral educational ties, particularly the importance of transforming MoUs into tangible initiatives. He highlighted the need for practical implementation to ensure meaningful academic cooperation.<\/p>

Dr. Chanidapha Nunualvuttiwong presented a strategic marketing plan aimed at attracting Indonesian students to pursue their studies at Krirk University. She emphasized that Krirk University offers a specialized Islamic Business Management program under the International Islamic College Bangkok, which aligns well with the academic interests of Indonesian students.<\/p>

Towards the end of the meeting, the Krirk University delegation extended an invitation to the Indonesian Ambassador to participate in the Rector Forum of Russia and Thailand: “Education in Russia and Thailand \u2013 University as a Space of Innovation,” co-hosted by Krirk University and the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Thailand. Following the discussions, the delegation presented a New Year\u2019s gift basket, a token of appreciation, and an official invitation to the Rector Forum to the Ambassador.<\/p>

This meeting marked a significant step in strengthening academic collaboration between Krirk University and the Embassy of Indonesia in Thailand.
