\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 On April 30, 2024, a delegation from the International Islamic College Bangkok, led by Prof. Dr. Jaran Maluleem, the Vice President for International Affairs and Dean, paid a visit to the Embassy of Egypt in Thailand. The team included Dr. Bandit Aroman, the Associate Dean of the Research and Innovation Department, Dr. Smeet Esore, the Director of the Master of Business Administration Program, Ms. Ameera Boonmalert, the Secretary of the College, and Mr. Muhammad Raksaithong, an International Affairs Official.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The purpose of this visit was to meet with H.E. Mrs. Hala Youssef Ahmed Ragab, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt. This courtesy visit served as an opportunity for the college representatives to strengthen their international educational ties and foster collaboration.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 At the outset of the meeting, Mrs. Halah expressed her delight and honor at the visit from the Krirk University administrators. She assured the delegation that the Egyptian Embassy stands ready to provide comprehensive support to Krirk University. This includes areas of education, academic endeavors, language, and cultural exchange.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Prof. Dr. Jaran articulated his intention on the visit, which was to foster relationships and discuss potential avenues for educational cooperation and networking. He recalled that in March of the previous time, the faculty members from Krirk University had the opportunity to visit Egypt and meet with administrators from several of Egypt\u2019s premier educational institutions. This experience provided them with valuable insights into the educational landscape that could be adapted to suit Krirk University\u2019s needs.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 He also acknowledged the significant contributions Egypt has made to Thailand, particularly in the realm of academics and knowledge resources. Notably, many Thai scholars have received their education in Egypt, further strengthening the ties between the two nations.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Simultaneously, Dr. Bandit explored the possibility of establishing educational and academic collaboration with top-tier Egyptian institutions through the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding. He also introduced the project of the 2nd International Conference and extended an invitation to the Ambassador to grace the opening ceremony with her presence.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 In addition, Dr. Smeet highlighted that the conference will be significant in gathering eminent Muslim scholars from around the world, in partnership with AIUA, and included distinguished representatives from Egyptian educational institutions.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 In conclusion, the Ambassador noted that the timing of the upcoming international conference coincides with the 70th<\/sup> anniversary of diplomatic ties between Thailand and Egypt. She expressed her earnest hope for continued collaboration between Thai educational institutions, particularly Krirk University, and their Egyptian counterparts. She assured the delegation that the Embassy stands ready to assist and cooperate in all possible ways.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
