\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Krirk University, in collaboration with esteemed partners including General Surayud Chulanont, Mr. Wan Muhammad Noor Matha, Haji Sulong Abdul Qader Tohmina Foundation, and the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center, orchestrated the inaugural examination for the UD Scholarship (Ummah Development) project for the academic year 2024. The event, hosted at the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center in Yala Province, witnessed the active participation of over 200 individuals.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 On January 23, 2024, the opening ceremony of the UD Scholarship (Ummah Development) program for the academic year 2024 took place. Police Lieutenant Colonel Wannapong Kocharak, Secretary-General of the SBP, delegated the responsibility to Dr. Sommai Bunkliang, Assistant Secretary of SBPAC, who extended a warm welcome to the university delegation and the aspiring youth taking part in the examination. During the ceremony, a sermon on the significance of educational opportunities was delivered, emphasizing Krirk University’s commendable initiative to offer 200 scholarships aimed at enhancing the quality of life for youth in the southern border provinces.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Professor Amphon Khamwilai, Assistant Chairman of the Executive Committee in the International Relations Department, addressed the gathering, representing the university’s commitment to elevating the southern border provinces through education. This strategic approach seeks to foster stable and sustainable development, ultimately mitigating conflicts and livelihood challenges in the region.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Distinguished figures attended the event, including Dr. Suriya Madthing, Pattani Provincial Education Officer, Mr. Hasan Phithakbanchakarn, Mueang Yala District Secretary, and Mr. Muhammad Fauzi Hayesamae, a representative of Wan Muhammad Nor Matha. The opening ceremony also welcomed Mr. Chaturon Iamsopa, representing Mr. Den Tohmina, Chairman of the Haji Sulong Abdul Qader Tohmina Foundation, and Mr. Therawit Thiankharoj, Director of the Coordination Division for Royal Initiative Projects and Special Affairs, SBP. Ms. Kamila Song, President of the Youth Association for the Heart of Thailand to the Heart of the South, and Mr. Abdulkhoday Phula, Secretary of the Youth Association, were also in attendance.<\/p>
