\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 Krirk University’s Bangkok Islamic International College recently organized a significant seminar project titled “The Journey from the Land of the Two Holy Mosques to the Homeland of Thailand.” Held on January 20, 2024, the event aimed to foster cultural and linguistic connections between Saudi Arabian and Thai students.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The seminar, initiated by Professor Dr. Charan Maluleem, Vice President for Foreign Affairs, and Dean of Bangkok International Islamic College, commenced with a welcoming address. Dr. Therawit Wongpetch, Advisor to the Minister of Labor, presided over the event, emphasizing its objective: to promote the development of Thai students born and raised in Saudi Arabia (Muwallad). These students, enrolled in the Bachelor of Business Administration program with a major in Hajj and Umrah Service Management, are envisioned to contribute to Thailand’s economic growth and enhance relations between Thailand and Saudi Arabia.<\/p>

\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 The seminar, hosted at the International Academic Conference Room in Building 2, Krirk University, featured various activities, including Arabic poetry readings and traditional Arab dance performances by students in the Hajj and Umrah service management program. Additionally, a seminar on the designated topic received insights from experts such as Dr. Ahmad Afan Dee, Director of Foreign Affairs at Samitivej Hospital, and Mr. Hussain Haji Hama, Director of Arabic Interpreting.<\/p>
