Dr. Choonhapong Thaiupathump, Assistant to the Vice President for IT at Krirk University, was recently invited as a Visiting Professor by the State Polytechnic of Malang (Polynema) in Indonesia. From October 28 to November 1, 2024,
Dr. Thaiupathump conducted a series of impactful lectures on “Generative AI Awareness in Education” for undergraduate and postgraduate students in Accounting, Business Administration, and Engineering. His lectures explored the transformative role of Generative AI in educational environments, with practical insights into how this technology is reshaping classroom experiences and research methodologies.
Polynema, the largest public vocational institution in Indonesia and a leader in applied learning, offers degree programs in fields including business administration, accounting, and engineering. Located in Malang, East Java, Polynema is renowned for its commitment to hands-on education that equips students with industry-relevant skills.
In addition to delivering lectures, Dr. Thaiupathump also engaged in strategic discussions with Polynema’s leadership, exploring potential collaborations with Krirk University in areas such as student and faculty exchanges, co-research initiatives, and joint publications.
